Two Dead, Three Injured in Ventura County Crash

VENTURA, CA (October 15, 2023) — A head-on collision on the 23 Freeway in Ventura County resulted in two fatalities and left three others hospitalized with major injuries.

The tragic incident occurred late Saturday night when two vehicles collided head-on under circumstances still being investigated. Emergency responders arrived promptly to find two occupants deceased at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The local community is mourning the loss, with family and friends expressing their grief and disbelief over the sudden tragedy.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the crash to determine the cause and any potential negligence involved.
