Pedestrian Injured in Hollywood Car Accident

HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 15, 2023) — A pedestrian was injured in a car accident on Sunset Boulevard late Saturday night, authorities reported.

The incident occurred when a vehicle struck a man crossing the street near the intersection of Sunset and Vine. Emergency responders arrived on the scene promptly and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently stable.

Community members expressed concern over the safety of the intersection, which has been the site of multiple accidents in recent months. Family members of the victim are hopeful for a full recovery.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident, seeking to determine whether speed or impaired driving played a role.
