19-Year-Old Severely Injured in Panorama City Crash
PANORAMA CITY, CA (Dec. 10, 2025) — A 19-year-old man was severely injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday evening in Panorama City, police said. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the collision that left the pedestrian in critical condition. CBS News
According to the LAPD, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Tupper Street. A white Toyota sedan was driving southbound when it struck the 19-year-old as he was crossing Van Nuys Boulevard in a marked crosswalk, police said. CBS News
Officers who responded to the scene found the victim with severe injuries. The driver of the Toyota did not stop, identify themselves, or render aid as required by law, authorities reported. CBS News
Emergency personnel transported the young man to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Investigators have not released his name pending notification of next of kin. CBS News
