Two Injured in Long Beach Motorcycle SUV Crash

LONG BEACH, CA (Jan. 10, 2026) — Two people were hospitalized after a serious collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV that resulted in a fiery crash in Long Beach. The crash left the motorcycle riders with severe injuries and prompted an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

According to the report, the collision occurred near Ocean Boulevard and Orange Avenue when a motorcycle carrying a married couple collided with an SUV. Video from the scene shows the motorcycle engulfed in flames following the impact. Both riders were thrown from the motorcycle as a result of the collision.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured riders to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the riders later told CBS News that he suffered internal bleeding that required immediate medical intervention, along with a broken hip and a wrist injury that required surgical repair.

Family members spoke about the emotional toll of the incident, describing the shock and fear that followed learning their loved ones had been seriously injured.
