Woman Hit, Killed by Truck on SR 18 in Llano

LLANO, CA (October 25, 2023) — A tragic incident occurred when a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on State Route 18 near 248th Street East in Llano.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was attempting to cross the freeway when she was hit by an eastbound Ford pickup truck. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead due to the severity of her injuries.

The local community is mourning the loss of the woman, and family members are grappling with the sudden tragedy.

Authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the incident. Further details are yet to be released.
