Suspect Injured in South LA Chase Crash

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (October 14, 2023) — A burglary suspect was injured after crashing at the end of a high-speed chase in South Los Angeles.

The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle collided with a barrier, causing significant damage. Emergency responders arrived promptly, and the suspect was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Residents in the area expressed relief that no bystanders were injured during the incident. However, the crash left many shaken, underscoring concerns about police chases in busy neighborhoods.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the circumstances leading to the chase and crash. Authorities are reviewing footage and interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.
