Suspect Hospitalized After Hollywood LAPD Pursuit Crash

HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 15, 2023) — A suspect was hospitalized following a crash during a police pursuit with the LAPD in Hollywood.

The incident occurred when officers engaged in a high-speed chase, which ended in a collision. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance, and the suspect was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash has raised concerns among local residents about the safety of high-speed police pursuits in densely populated areas. Community members have expressed support for the officers involved, while also advocating for safer pursuit protocols.

The LAPD is currently investigating the circumstances leading to the crash. Authorities have not yet released a statement regarding potential charges against the suspect.
