ANAHEIM, CA (October 22, 2023) — A pregnant woman was tragically killed in a late-night crash in Anaheim when a suspected DUI driver struck her vehicle, authorities reported.

The incident occurred as the woman was out for a late-night snack. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the suspected DUI driver was taken into custody. Emergency services responded swiftly, but unfortunately, the victim could not be saved.

The community is mourning the loss, with many expressing their grief and shock over the devastating incident.

Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the crash, and charges against the driver are pending.
