Pedestrian Killed on 405 Freeway in Westchester
WESTCHESTER, CA (Nov. 17, 2025) — A 44-year-old woman was struck and killed Sunday night on the southbound San Diego Freeway (405) just south of La Tijera Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was reported at 11:16 p.m., when a white Kia Soul crossover SUV struck the pedestrian. The victim was later identified as Kinna Robin, who sustained multiple injuries and was pronounced dead, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner‑Coroner. A SigAlert was issued at 11:39 p.m., shutting down the southbound lanes and diverting traffic onto the La Cienega/Manchester boulevards off-ramp. The lanes remained closed until approximately 2:30 a.m. while CHP investigated the scene.
