Fatal Hit-and-Run in Santa Clarita Crash

SANTA CLARITA, CA (Dec. 10, 2025) — A person was found dead Wednesday morning in Santa Clarita in what authorities are investigating as a fatal hit-and-run collision, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials confirmed. Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley station responded to the scene after reports of the incident.

Deputies arrived shortly before 10 a.m. to the area of Needham Ranch Road and Sierra Highway following reports of a traffic collision, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. At the scene, they located an individual who had been struck and, tragically, pronounced the person dead. Sheriff’s officials said the death was being investigated as a hit-and-run.

It remains unclear what led up to the collision, and there was no description available of a suspect or the vehicle involved in the fatal crash, officials said. Authorities have not released any identifying information about the victim.
