Pedestrian Injured in South Hoover Street Accident

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 16, 2023) — A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car in Los Angeles on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred near South Hoover Street. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and provided medical aid to the injured pedestrian, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian is currently unknown.

Local residents expressed concern over pedestrian safety in the area, highlighting the need for increased traffic measures to prevent similar incidents.

The accident is under investigation by authorities, who are working to determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
