Woman Killed in Glendale Metrolink Train Collision

GLENDALE, CA (October 22, 2023) — A woman was tragically killed in Glendale when a Metrolink train collided with her car on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at a railroad crossing near Grandview Avenue, where the car was struck by the train, leading to the fatality. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead on-site.

The community expressed deep sorrow over the loss, with neighbors and family gathering to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, including how the car ended up on the tracks. Further details from officials are pending.
