Man Killed, Child Injured in Watts Crash

WATTS, CA (October 15, 2023) — A tragic single-vehicle crash in Watts claimed the life of a man and left a 7-year-old girl injured on Sunday.

The incident occurred when the vehicle lost control and crashed. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The injured child was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The local community is in shock, with family members expressing deep sorrow over the unexpected loss and concern for the young girl’s recovery.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash to determine if any factors such as speed or mechanical failure played a role.
