Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

What began as a brake-check incident on a California freeway escalated when the defendant drove his car directly into our client, a pedestrian who was outside of his vehicle, carrying him into a parked pickup truck. The pedestrian collision caused a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) along with back, elbow, and knee injuries.

The defendant claimed he acted in self-defense and refused to accept responsibility for the crash, so Feher Law took the case to a liability-only jury trial in May 2026, where the jury placed 68% of the fault on the defendant.
